Surgery

General surgery and some orthopedic surgery is performed such as spay, neuter, and cruciate repair and many others.
We recommend bloodwork prior to surgery to evaluate the overall health of your pet before going under anesthesia.
We can refer complicated or difficult surgeries to the surgeon at MedVet Mobile.

Medicine

Sick or injured pets are examined, evaluated, diagnosed and treated either as outpatients or hospitalized in the clinic.

Teeth cleanings

Routine teeth cleaning is performed on those pets with tartared teeth.

X-rays: Digital Radiography

Both our offices utilize Digital Radiography in place of traditional "film" X-rays. This technology has meny benefits, including:

Faster results

DICOM Transfer - electronic transmission for offsite evaulation by Specialists. For example, we can transmit the images to Vet Specialists at Auburn that can then immediately view the X-rays and assist with diagnosis and treatment options.

In House Laboratory

We can perform intestinal parasite exams, heartworm tests, feline leukemia and FIV tests, CBC (complete blood count), electrolytes, and basic blood chemistries to evaluate liver, kidney, and other organs.

Boarding

All boarding pets are kept indoors in an air conditioned and heated kennel. Cats are kept separated from the dog kennel and dogs are let outside three times a day for exercise. We feed Hill's Science Diet or your own food if you request. We can give medications to your pet while boarding if they require this. Please ask for a tour of our kennel.

Bathing

We bathe pets Monday through Friday and ask that your pet be dropped of before 9:00 Am and picked up after 3:00 PM.
